Potato wedges

Ingredients:

  • Potato - 8 medium sized, cut into wedges
  • Maida -
  • Black Pepper - 2 teaspoon
  • Jeera Powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Red Chilli Powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Salt - to taste
  • Oil - for frying

Directions:

  1. Cut the potato into half and then again cut it into three pieces vertically.
  2. Boil them in sufficient water for two minutes and drain the water.
  3. In a mixing bowl, add jeera powder, black pepper powder, salt to taste and red chilli powder.
  4. Add potatoes into it and mix well.
  5. Add maida, sprinkle a little water and mix.
  6. In a deep pan, add oil and deep fry the wedges till it is crispy.
  7. Drain and place them on an absorbent paper.
  8. Sprinkle a little pepper powder, red chilli powder, jeera powder and serve hot.
